Match report

Little paxton under 10s' finished their season on a high with a fine 5 - 1 victory over St.Ives 'M'.
This was the icing on the cake for Paxton as they finished season unbeaten, winning 15 and drawing 3 of their 18 league matches.
Paxton started really strong and created several early chances but they could not make them count.
St.Ives then started to create some chances but Liam Peacock in the Paxton defence broke up any real danger.
Paxton took the lead mid way through the half when Charlie Bailey whipped in a cross which Jake Dexter controlled and slotted home.
Then Paxton added a second when Jake Smith was put through and coolly put the ball past the advancing keeper.
After half time it was Paxton who kept up the pressure playing some lovely passing football.
This was rewarded when Jake Dexter scored his second which was soon followed by another from Sean Haran.
Jake Dexter completed his hatrick in the dying minutes, but St.Ives continued to battle and scored a consolation goal with virtually the last kick of the game.
The Paxton team and management would like to congratulate all of their opponents for another fantastic season. And their sponsors Gates Hydraulics.

Previous game

Little Paxton under 10s' had to work hard for their 4-3 win against Graveley.

Paxton were slow to start and paid the price when Graveley took the lead early on.
This sparked some life into Paxton and they were awarded a penalty, which Jake Smith smashed into the top corner.
That gave Paxton the momentum and they scored two more in quick succession both by Sean Haran from close range.
Graveley scored a second before half time to keep the game in the balance.
Gravely started the second half strong and got back in the game with a sensational right foot volley from long range to equalise.
Paxton then took control of the game and Jake Smith scored with a great strike from the edge of the box.
If it was not for the Graveley keeper Paxton could of had a few more but they managed to hold on for the win.
